This workshop will be held online from 9AM to 5PM EDT with breaks and a break at Noon for lunch.
Immunity is generated from infection and vaccination. While immunity is gained at the individual level, we can also think of immunity as a population-level quantity as well, specifically when discussing seroprevalance and herd immunity. In this workshop we will hear from experts in immunity modelling, including studies in Mathematical Immunology (modelling the immune response dynamics from infection and vaccination) and Mathematical Epidemiology (modelling immunity characteristics in population related to seroprevelance and herd immunity calculations). The workshop includes research talks and discussion panels.
