Ask a Mathematician - Summer Edition
Description
Are you ages 8 - 11 and looking for a fun way to end your summer?
In this interactive session Dr. Jane Heffernan will guide you on an exploration of how mathematics shows up in nature and biology and the fascinating patterns that occur in the world all around us. You'll get to see math in a flower, a pinecone, a pineapple, and more. In addition, as part of this program, you’ll receive a FREE spirograph kit to make your own incredible patterns and you’ll get to explore math found in your own kitchen and in and around your home.
