2015-2016 Math Circles
July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016, The Fields Institute
Description
This page is under construction. For now, please refer to the old web page here.
Math Circles are spaces for students to investigate topics like a mathematician: looking for patterns, making conjectures, finding counterexamples, and constructing proofs. This is done collaboratively, as a group, guided by mathematicians and math educators. Students work on topics outside of the curriculum to develop a deeper understanding of mathematics and to work with others who have similar interests.
MEETINGS
Maths Circles are open to high school students and held at the Fields Institute on Saturday afternoons.
